The First Issue of Anti Trafficking Review

Greetings from The Slave Detective,

last night I attended the retirement party of Detective Inspector Steve Wilkinson. I have spoken of him before and attended many conferences with him.

He is an UN expert on Human Trafficking who teaches other experts with the UN.

So it makes lots of sense that he retired from The Metropolitan Police working on the Credit Card Unit at a time when they could do with his expertise. The recent TIP report highlighted that prosecutions in the UK were significantly lower than in previous years. I suspect this fact will be spun around the line ‘reported cases are down’.

They are down because the unit that deals with this issue sit and wait for Victims to appear.

Enough of that…… today I want to promote the first issue of the Anti Trafficking Review. ATR_FIRST_EDITION[1]

It was recommended to me by Parosha Chanran, a forward thinking barrister.

It is a great review.
