It isn’t all about Sex Trafficking-Euro Crisis

 Greetings from The Slave Detective,

This recent article in The Guardian, “Trafficking in Britain”, highlights the fact that criminal gangs look for every opportunity to exploit for their benefit. This story highlights that men, stuck in the Euro crisis, unemployed and vulnerable are being trafficked into the UK.

This problem is only going to worsen as the so called ‘Euro Crisis’ worsens. Only today there was an article about laying off more of the UK’s military personnel. Unemployment will rise throughout Europe leading to more persons being vulnerable. Human Trafficking is all about exploiting vulnerable people so you don’t have to be Sherlock Holmes to work out that Organised Criminal Networks will benefit greatly from this.

Iceland have openly stated they have reduced their proactive Policing to nil as their law enforcement budget is cut by 50%. I can here you say “but that’s Iceland”

The Policing Budget has been cut by £500 Million in The UK. It is not hard to work out where.

Austerity cuts affect us all but they affect the poor the most.
